In 2000 Bev and John built a new home in Headingley Manitoba, which she was extremely proud of. She enjoyed remodeling the house and making numerous renovations over the next 19 years. Bev always looked so forward to summer vacations when the family would rent cabins throughout the Sioux Narrows and Kenora areas and spent many hours boating, fishing and enjoying water sports on beautiful Lake of the Woods. She enjoyed the many family trips to Kelowna, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and spending time in the Rocky Mountains. During spring break Bev and John enjoyed going on many winter vacations to places like Jamaica, Bahamas, Puerto Vallarta as well as cruises.
Bev embraced every day of her life with a strong work ethic, good sense of humor, sharp wit, positive attitude, tremendous courage and an unconditional love for her family. Bev your strength, hope, and fortitude was an inspiration to us all. You gave us all strength and courage throughout your battle and in your final days.
