The Man. The Myth. The Legend...
Kenneth Roy Nachtigall age, 74, passed away on September 19, 2020 at St. Boniface Hospital with his wife Joy of 34 years by his side. Ken will be greatly missed for his unique sense of humour which he passed down to his 2 daughters Carla and Kyla and also to his 6 grandsons Dustin, Jaydon, Rhys, Parker, Micah and Grayson. He will also be greatly missed by his sister Wanda and nephew Kevin (Erin) of Abbotsford, BC, his Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws, Nieces, Nephews, also his great friends and relatives that he held so dear to his heart throughout the years.
Ken was also known for his many decades as a heavy duty diesel mechanic, his love of flying, his sweet tooth for Big Turk chocolate bars and his hatred for corn.
Ken did not live an average life. He travelled where he wanted to travel, laughed inappropriately at every chance, learned what he wanted to learn, fixed what he wanted to fix and loved who he wanted to love, and did so with his whole heart.
Ken, your wings were ready but our hearts were not. You fought so hard to stay with us, but now your battle is over and you are at peace, pain free and are finally able to meet your big brother, John. You are so greatly missed, loved and will be in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, sweetheart... xoxo
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be in the upcoming weeks.
