Earl Francis Gibbs, age 70, died in his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 2nd, 2021. He is survived by his children, Erin and Andrew, and three grandchildren Asher, Alec, and Jaymee. He is also survived by his two sisters Nancy Shanks and Judith Kozar, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Tim, Jim, Albert, and Rosemary.
Earl was born on July 1st, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Growing up, he would spend summers exploring the wilderness near his family cottage in Delta Marsh. From an early age, he always enjoyed woodworking and building things, which he continued to do throughout his life.
After graduating with a Diploma in Industrial Arts Teacher Education from Red River Community College in 1976, Earl taught for many years as a Production Arts teacher. He also received his Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba in 1990.
